Iraqi Election Front-runner Sadr, Runner-up Ameri Meet.

Iraqi Shi’ite cleric and head of Sa’eroun Coalition, Muqtada al-Sadr on Sunday met with the leader of Shi’ite Conquest Alliance, Hadi al-Ameri, to discuss the post-election move.

According to a statement by Sadr’s office, the winner of Iraqi parliamentary election has reiterated the importance of including all major political factions in the upcoming government in Baghdad. 

The powerful Shi’ite cleric insists on establishing a technocrat cabinet which will keep serving people as the top priority.

The statement has not revealed any information about possible negotiations between the two sides.
