Iran Builds Weapons Factory Underground In southern Lebanon.

BEIRUT, NETRALNEWS.COM – France-based magazine Intelligence Online has reported on Sunday (7/9) that Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has set up a weapons factory in Lebanon, 50 meters underground and strengthening them from air strikes.
The magazine added one of the factories located in Hermel, east of Bekaa, is producing Fateh-110 surface-to-ground missiles with reach of 300 kilometers and capable of carrying a 400 kilogram warhead. The second factory is on the Lebanese coast between the cities of Tire and Sidon.
Earlier in March, an Iranian Revolution Guards officer said that work at the weapons factory had begun.
"These factories are built more than 50 meters underground beneath the layers and layers of the fortress so that Israeli planes can not hit them," an official was quoted as saying by Iran's news agency. He added that "the missiles are manufactured by different manufacturers before being assembled."
"Weapons manufactured at the plant have been tested in the Syrian war and prove its effectiveness," he stressed, stressing that "anti-tank missiles are capable of destroying cars that attack Hezbollah fighters."
"Hezbollah is now making weapons and machine guns and ground-based anti-air missile launchers," he said.
